PAINT PROTECTION FILMS

Paint Protection Film is the ultimate choice to protect the integrity of the paintwork on your vehicle, it also makes maintenance easier and cheaper and will help to maximise the re-sale value due to the paintwork being kept in such good condition.

PPF protects against stone chips, minor scratches, swirls from bad contact during washing, salt, insects, bird droppings, water marks and chemical pollutants in the atmosphere.

It also has self healing properties, marks and scratches will disappear through the application of heat, or even from the heat provided by the sun.

The high quality films we use offer excellent clarity, and when applying to full panels we always custom cut, and wrap around the edges, (some companies will apply to panels with pre-cut templates leaving visible edges on bodywork, nothing worse!) so it really does look as if nothing is there except "perfect glossy paintwork". Now this is dependent of course on the fact that you have "perfect glossy paintwork" to begin with, this is Paint Protection Film not Paint Perfection Film. Any existing defects in the paintwork will always be visible, unless they are corrected before application, we also offer paint correction packages, but your vehicle would need a full inspection by us to ensure it is a suitable candidate for PPF to be applied. The ideal time to apply PPF of course, is when the vehicle is brand new.

MAXIMISE PROTECTION

If you are serious about paint protection for your vehicle we can take things a step further by applying a Ceramic Coating to your PPF so there is increased hydrophobicity, and enhanced performance, making it even easier to maintain. We use HALO, a ceramic coating from GTECHNIQ  designed specifically for application to flexible substrates such as PPF.

HALO is a chemically bonding, ultra-dense flexible film that becomes the permanent surface of the PPF, protecting it from the elements a car faces on a daily basis. The density of the coating and it's low surface energy improve dirt and water repellency even further.

PPF LIMITATIONS

Paint Protection Film is without doubt an incredible product, a quality film applied by an experienced installer will add value to your vehicle. But we have often seen the product being oversold and over promised by some installers, something we would never do. It is important for you to know what PPF does not do.

  • PPF is not bullet proof, it is incredibly strong and impact resistant, but it does not have super-powers, it can be damaged by a particularly strong force.
  • PPF is not maintenance free. The film will get dirty, if you let dirt, bird droppings and insect splatter sit on the film you will shorten it's life. You still need to wash your car on a regular basis to maintain it's look and maximise it's performance and life-span.
