THE WRAPPING PROCESS
The process to accomplish a complete colour change wrap entails an enormous amount of work involving numerous stages requiring meticulous attention to detail. It begins much the same as a normal detail with a multi stage washing, cleaning and de-contamination process so that the paintwork is prepared correctly to accept the wrap. We then safely remove parts of the car, (door handles, wing mirrors, bumpers, grilles, lights, badges etc) and clean all the joints, edges and returns to ensure that the edges of the wrap won't fail. The car is then given it's final clean and decontamination with Isopropyl Alcohol in readiness for the wrap to be applied.
All of this preparation stage is absolutely vital and is the most crucial part to the wrap being successful and looking spectacular when it's finished, it is this attention to detail that will achieve an outstanding finish, as opposed to something just looking OK.
WRAP LIFE EXPECTANCY
Your car has a brand new, custom look, but it won't look as good for long if it is not maintained correctly. We will give you full details and instruction on how to look after your "new asset", because that's what it is, not only is the wrap looking good and setting you apart from the crowd, it's also protecting your paintwork, and maximising the vehicle's future value. Consistent maintenance will extend the life expectancy of the wrap, but we normally say you shouldn't expect it to be much beyond 3 years for a daily driven vehicle, even though manufacturers rate their vinyl as a 5 to 7 year product. You can further enhance and protect the appearance and extend the life expectancy by adding a ceramic coating, this also makes ongoing maintenance a lot easier. The coating we use is HALO from GTECHNIQ, it has been specifically designed for application to flexible substrates and will increase dirt and water repellency. A wrap is an incredible and versatile alternative to painting your vehicle, without compromising it's integrity and resale value.
WRAPPING OPTIONS
There are options available, without going as far as a full wrap, that can still alter and enhance the appearance of your car. There are aesthetic modifications that can achieve a brand new look. Blackout packages for example allow us to cover all that chrome (nothing worse) on window trims, grilles etc, giving the car a more stylish and aggressive look. We can apply accent colours to the roof and wing mirrors, and other body parts to provide a custom look.
